The best place to do everything - or nothing!

Hibou Blanc, named after the barn owl, is a very comfortable, extremely well equipped Granite built house with 18th century origins. Set in its own ground, in a stunning hillside location overlooking the fortified harbour town of St Vaast La Hougue, one of France and Normandy’s well known yachting havens.

Converted several years ago into a modern rental holiday home, for year round living, to designs by an award winning architect the house retains many original features, including a huge granite fireplace and exposed wooden beams. A special feature is a floor to ceiling two sided viewing window. The ever changing views of the sea from this window have been described by a local artist as the best in Normandy.

Spacious English country style gardens and orchard provide plenty of room for children to play and adults to lounge.

There are 4 bedrooms sleeping 6/10.

Sailing, golfing, swimming and sand castles, biking, hiking, D Day Beaches and Museums, Bayeux and its famous Tapestry, Mont St Michel, rock pooling, street markets.

Watch the views, lounge in the garden, lounge on the terrace, wine tasting, sea food sampling, choose fish from the daily catch, restaurant testing, lunch in the garden, listen to the silence.
